Future Past 04:03
Pass through the smoke alone. Why was I here? Was drifting through space in a wingback chair. Wade through the woods on wings. Who do you think that is there? Descended through layers of the atmosphere. Come through the drapes reversed. What year is this? Slipping through portals and temporal rifts. Electricity flows through me. Electricity. Come through the drapes reversed.

The Spiral 04:16
Think I'm killing the plants called them all by name before I left. Gave them water to quench their thirst but the soil is dead and unrepentant. Contemplated calling in favours, a green-thumbed thriller-hell-raiser-killer. She kicked me around. Paced myself around the block, why is it every time I unwind I cannot stop? And filtered me down. Bent bars, cracked glass, hurl myself upstairs wait for it to pass. You’ve been gone for days, for weeks, feels like decades. Should I rob the graves, catacombs and caves Or scour the shore in case we lost your trace? You’ve been gone for days, for weeks, feels like decades. No time to waste, no, now I’m wide awake.

On Waves 04:07
Respond if you feel so inclined. Strange how it all transpired. Setoff for the coast-line at dawn. Got lost in a holy fire. At night weary ghosts sailed on by. Blind to the huddled crowd. And carved through the calm, granite sky Began to sing aloud. An old familiar sound. While bombs outside are tumbling down, down. On waves we could shed gravity. Until the mind recalled. Was lost in some grand reverie. It helped with the freefall. Into a pattern of repeating sound. With bombs at night pummeling down.

Drawing the map where edges overlap. Drawing the map to find a new way back. Obscured and bypassed. Hidden and cleared of tracks. Serenity is a faraway place. Outside the city lines, the hotel bars and the pool sides. It’s beyond the pain and the shadowed light. Drawing the map where edges overlap. Drawing the map to find a new way back. Obscured and bypassed. Hidden and cleared of tracks. Eternity, can it really be true? Like an endless dream where unsaid words are still believed. I could hold on to you and be redeemed. Released. Redeemed.

Horoscope 05:48
We came into some property when my neighbours died. An acreage left in their will for me came as a surprise. There tucked behind a photograph a note we couldn’t help but read said ‘you are everything I have and all I could ever need. Here living in this meadowland from now until we disappear’. And the living room. And the parlour. And the bedroom with the balcony. See across the fields there are memories holding memories speaking back to me. And the dining room. And the foyer. And the bedroom with the veranda. Smell the cedars now it’s all coming back in a dream that lasts. And we’ll honour that. Mirror let us know. Tarot let us know. Horoscope let us know.

Roamer 03:09
Wake up clear your eyes. Relive the wavelength we were on last night. Fluorescent beams were arcing down. Trepidation had blurred the sound So you let me take control. Arms outstretched into a parasol. Dress up wear your cloak. Retrace our steps around the sequoias. So let me take the lead. Keep you from slipping into the stream. Stray to the depths below you pull me up. And your recompense owed was not enough. In the way that you roamed like a lioness. When you lunge for my throat I am powerless.
